MISSION-CRITICAL AERIAL INTELLIGENCE & CONNECTIVITY

Delivered in Real Time

About Us

Overwatch Aero (OWA) is an airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operator-and-enabler built for decision advantage. We deliver mission-critical aerial intelligence and connectivity—delivered in real time—by vertically integrating Airborne Operations (manned and unmanned), Mission Systems (SATCOM + secure dissemination), and Engineering (payload integration + sustainment + custom development) into one accountable capability.

Unlike point-solution vendors, OWA provides complete lifecycle ownership, from sensor selection and integration through mission execution, resilient connectivity, cybersecurity considerations, and end-user delivery. Our architecture is platform- and data-link agnostic, designed to deliver reliable intelligence across diverse aircraft, payloads, networks, and operational constraints.

Our Services

UAS deployed to a mountainous wildfire.

Airborne Operations

Mission-critical ISR—manned or unmanned—executed end-to-end.

Overwatch Aero conducts full-service airborne intelligence missions in complex, dynamic environments—going beyond “flight ops” to include payload configuration, collection planning, and rapid dissemination of actionable products to decision-makers in the field.

PLEO system integrated and installed in MH60R helicopter.

Mission Systems

Aerial intelligence & connectivity—delivered in real time.

We design and deploy SATCOM-enabled mission architectures that move high-bandwidth sensor data securely and reliably from aircraft to end users—supporting real-time situational awareness, web-based dissemination, and integration into operational workflows.

Engineering

Customize. Integrate. Sustain.

Our engineering team integrates sensors and modular payloads, maintains and sustains UAS platforms, and delivers custom mission engineering to meet unique requirements—accelerating both operational deployments and partner enablement.

  • Wildfire burning on mountains with smoke and flames, two US Forest Service patches overlapping the scene.

Lightening Complex Fire - Air Operations Branch Director

"[...] the UAS crew was able to pinpoint the spot and provide precise coordinates to the firefighters who were able to check it out and put it out. That kind of information we would never have without these unmanned aircraft and that capability."

  • Coastal view of ocean waves near a sandy beach with rocky terrain and a distant shoreline under a cloudy sky, NOAA and California Marine Protected Areas logos overlayed.

NOAA - Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory

"[...] Overwatch Aero tested PMEL’s science payloads onboard the hybrid FVR-90 Vertical Take Off and Landing - Fixed Wing uncrewed aircraft. Deployment of these science payloads on uncrewed aircraft supports NOAA’s mission to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, the ocean and coasts. [...] the operations moved the team one step further in achieving their ultimate goal of launching the payloads onboard the FVR-90 from NOAA ships to complement surface measurements of aerosol properties."

  • A wildfire burning in the mountains with flames and smoke in the background. Two logos of the Alaska Incident Management Team are visible, one on each side of the image.

Falls and Telephone Fires - Incident Commander

“Type1 UAS platform is a critical tool for us because it provides "eyes in the sky" while we are doing our fire suppression operations. [...] the UAS is the kind of tool that will really help us work toward meeting the objectives quicker.”

  • A portable scientific or technical setup with various electronic devices, wires, and a tablet displaying a map. The setup is in a tan protective case with NASA logos on the outside, placed on a wooden surface outdoors.

    NASA ACERO Team

“Though the systems were separated by mountains and valleys with weak cellular service, the PAMS units were able to successfully share and display a simulated fire zone, aircraft location, flight plans, and flight intent, thanks to a radio communications relay established by the Overwatch aircraft.”
