Overwatch Aero, LLC made history recently by receiving a precedent-setting Section 44807 Exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
This approval allows Overwatch Aero to operate its UAS’ in the National Airspace System at altitudes of up to 4,000 ft AGL.
An FAA Certificate of Authorization also allows for Overwatch Aero to conduct Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations within all temporary flight restrictions–providing the company optimal flexibility in supporting wildland fire, search and rescue and law enforcement customers.
