Recently, Overwatch Aero teamed up with Marine Advanced Robotics, the developer and manufacturer of the Wave Adaptive Modular Vessel (WAM-V) series of autonomous surface vehicles, to demonstrate an uncrewed solution to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
The goal was to provide the customer with an option for persistent, real-time intelligence which can inform tactical decisions and also stand up in a court of law.
The demonstration was in Dana Point, CA–not a bad place to fly!
